The Coach
What the Coach (Quill) is, what it knows about your publication, and what it will and won't do without your approval.
The Coach is Quill, a writing coach inside WriteStack. It's a chat that already knows your publication, so you can ask it to draft Notes in your voice, fill your queue, or explain your numbers.
Open it from Coach in the sidebar.
What it knows
- Your Notes, posts, posting schedule and stats.
- Your writing style.
- The Writing Edge knowledge base.
- Its own Memory of you, and anything you add to its Library (links, pasted text, PDFs).
Memory and Library stay private to your account.
What it does without asking, and what it doesn't
| Action | Needs your approval? |
|---|---|
| Draft Notes as cards you can edit | No |
| Schedule Notes | Yes |
| Post a Note or an article on its own | It never does |
When you approve scheduling in the Coach on your computer, the extension schedules the Notes on Substack right away. See Sync.
Usage
