# Get help (/docs/using/support)

Open the support chat from **Support** in WriteStack's account menu, or email support@writestack.io. For quick how-to questions, ask Quill first. Post feature ideas on the [features board](https://writestack.io/features).

## Chat with support [#chat-with-support]

1. In WriteStack, click your name and email in the sidebar to open the account menu.
2. Click **Support**. The chat opens in the corner of the page.

On a computer, you can also click the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner. On phones the bubble is hidden, but **Support** in the menu still opens the chat.

If a page fails to load, click **Open support chat** on the error screen. WriteStack adds the page and an error reference to your message for you.

## Ask Quill first [#ask-quill-first]

Click **Ask Quill** in the bottom-right corner of the app. Quill answers questions about the screen you're on. If it can't help, click **Talk to a person**. The support chat opens with your question and the page already filled in.

## What to include [#what-to-include]

Add these and we can usually fix it in one reply:

- What you were trying to do, and what happened instead.
- The exact error message, or a screenshot.
- The page you were on (for example **My Notes → Scheduled notes**).
- For a Note that posted late or not at all: the Note's text, the time it should have posted and your time zone from **Settings → Account Information**.
- Your browser and your extension version. See [how to check your version](/docs/using/setup/browser-extension#minimum-versions).
- Your Substack profile URL if the problem is with your connection.
